I advise and lead work with governments, world leaders, brands and cultural organisations internationally on their most ambitious live events, cultural and creative ventures – particularly those without precedent, playbook or room for public failure.
My background is leading major international cultural, brand, sporting and state events at the highest level, across the arts, sport, marketing and architecture sectors. I am known for bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning vision with strategy and reality, and offering calm, rigorous counsel when the margin for error is zero.
My work ranges from the pioneering Contemporary and Islamic Arts Biennales in Saudi Arabia to the Tour de France’s visit to the UK in 2007, both without precedent or template at the time.
I have also helped shape the placemaking and redevelopment of King’s Cross in London, led the delivery of one of the largest NATO summits ever staged, produced Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and opened the largest theme park in the UAE.
Beyond this, I increasingly advise on ventures that extend outside traditional cultural frameworks – including projects exploring activity in space.
I also speak internationally, mentor senior leaders, and authored a bestselling book on conceiving, creating and delivering major cultural projects.
